Few-Shot Style Matching From My Samples
Teach the assistant a style from examples and test it on new content.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Learn my style from these samples: [SAMPLE_ONE], [SAMPLE_TWO], [SAMPLE_THREE]. Then write about: [NEW_TOPIC]. Length: [LENGTH]. First describe the style in eight observations: sentence length, openings, use of questions, humour, punctuation, vocabulary level, structure, and what I never do. Quote a short example from the samples for each observation. Then write the new piece following those observations and add a self-check listing which observations you applied and where. Do not copy sentences from the samples and do not invent facts about me. Afterwards, show a table of three lines you were least sure matched my style, with a second option for each, so I can tell you which sounds more like me. Ask me to confirm the style description before writing, in case I disagree with an observation, and adjust if I do. Keep the new piece at the requested length within ten percent, and show the word count. If the samples are too different from each other to give a single style, say so and ask which one to follow. In the self-check, list the habits you copied and the habits you deliberately avoided because they looked accidental, such as a repeated typo.
