Accessibility statement
Last updated October 28, 2026.
We want Prompt Almanac to be usable by everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or reduced motion. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA. We have not had the site audited by an outside accessibility specialist, so we do not claim formal conformance.
What we have done
- Plain HTML pages that work without JavaScript for reading prompts, with one main heading per page, a logical heading order and landmark regions.
- A "skip to content" link and a visible focus outline on interactive elements.
- Text and interface colours chosen for AA contrast, in light and dark mode.
- Form fields and buttons have labels; star ratings can be used with a keyboard as a radio group.
- Animation is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Diagrams in the Academy guides have text alternatives.
Known limits
- We test with automated checks and by hand, not with a panel of disabled users.
- Copying, saving and rating a prompt need JavaScript. The prompt text itself can be selected and copied without it.
- Prompts are written text for AI tools; third-party sites such as ChatGPT or Claude have their own accessibility.
Tell us about a barrier
If something is hard to use, please tell us at [email protected]: the page address, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you use. We will look at every report and fix what we can.
