[ADD SOURCE] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Replace or resolve each flag before you use the result.
Write a pitch to a journalist or editor. The publication and reporter (recent articles I read): [PUBLICATION_AND_REPORTER]. My story angle and why it matters now: [STORY_ANGLE]. Evidence (data, case, unique access, expert availability): [EVIDENCE]. My credentials and relationship to the topic: [MY_CREDENTIALS]. Embargo or exclusivity: [EMBARGO]. Follow this structure and length (about 120 to 150 words): Subject: specific and newsworthy (not "Press release"), under 60 characters. Line 1: refer to their recent article and connect it to my angle. Lines 2 to 3: the story in two sentences with the key fact or number. Line 4: why now, and what is new. Line 5: what I can offer (data, interview, images, access), the availability, and the deadline. Closing: thanks and an easy way to decline. Return the pitch, three subject lines, a shorter version for social messaging where the reporter prefers it, a follow-up after 3 to 5 days (30 words), and a checklist: story is relevant to their beat, facts are accurate and sourced, a clear spokesperson, a press kit link, no attachments unless requested, respect for deadlines. Add what not to do: mass blasts, calling repeatedly, exaggeration, asking for approval before publication, or pushing sales messages. Mark claims needing proof as [ADD SOURCE]. Do not guess the reporter's preferences.
