Write personalized first lines for cold emails. What I sell and to whom: [OFFER_AND_AUDIENCE]. Prospect details I have (role, company, recent activity, posts, products, news; verified and public): [PROSPECT_DETAILS]. My connection to the topic: [MY_CONNECTION]. Learn from these examples. Generic: "I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to introduce my company." Weak personalization: "I see you work at Acme and love your website." Strong: "Your post last week about pausing hiring until Q2 made me think about how many ops teams are doing more with the same headcount." Strong (product-based): "I noticed Brightline now ships to Canada, which usually means a new set of customs forms." Strong (shared context): "We both spoke at last month's logistics meetup; your point about returns data stuck with me." For each prospect, write four first lines (one based on a recent public post or news, one on a business change, one on a shared context, one on their role's likely priorities), each under 25 words, with a note on the evidence used and a reliability rating. Add a check: would the sentence still be true if sent to someone else? If yes, rewrite. Do not invent facts, flatter falsely, or imply a relationship we do not have; if I gave no verified detail, tell me what to research. Include a two-minute research routine and a rule to skip prospects where I can't find a genuine reason to write.
