Outlook Meeting Follow-Up Email Templates
Write follow-ups after meetings.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.
Write follow-up email templates I can reuse in Outlook after meetings. Types of meeting I run: [MEETING_TYPES]. Who usually attends and how formal we are: [ATTENDEES_AND_TONE]. Where actions are tracked afterwards: [ACTION_TRACKER]. Produce one template for each meeting type, under 130 words before placeholders are filled: a subject pattern with meeting name and date, an opening line that thanks people in half a sentence, decisions (one line each), an action table written with vertical bars so it survives pasting (Action, Owner, Due date, Status), open questions, the next meeting date, and a closing line. Add a shorter version for a quick call with only decisions and actions. Use only facts I supply, mark any missing owner or date [VERIFY], and never assign an action to someone who did not agree. Add a checklist for sending within one working day, and a note on when a follow-up should go to a smaller group. Mention Outlook features that could help, such as saving the template or flagging for follow-up, marked [VERIFY] because menu names differ between versions. Output plain text that pastes into the message body.
