Check clarity, honesty and asks in a periodic update.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Audit my investor update. Deck or email text with metrics: [UPDATE_CONTENT]. Previous update's promises: [PREVIOUS_PROMISES]. This period's results and problems: [RESULTS_PROBLEMS]. Compare results with what was promised, check whether bad news is stated plainly, whether metrics are defined consistently from update to update, whether cash and runway come from finance, and whether the asks are specific. Flag spin and missing variance explanations. Return a scorecard from 1 to 10 for candour, consistency, clarity and usefulness of asks, a table of promise versus result, and a rewrite of the opening summary in 100 words. Also suggest a standard format for every update, with the same five metrics defined in the same way, a section for lessons, and an explicit list of help requested from investors. Check that numbers marked as estimates are labelled, and that the tone is neither defensive nor promotional when results fall short of plan. Finish with the two sentences an investor would most want to see changed.
