Security Questionnaire Response Preparation
Prepare accurate answers to customer security reviews.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.
Help me answer a customer's security questionnaire accurately. My company and product: [COMPANY_AND_PRODUCT]. My actual security practices, written as plain facts (add "not implemented" where true): [SECURITY_FACTS]. Questionnaire questions: [PASTE_QUESTIONS]. Calibrate with these examples: Q: "Do you encrypt data at rest?" Weak answer: "Yes, we use industry-standard security." Good answer: "Yes. Production databases and backups are encrypted with AES-256 using keys managed by our cloud provider. Laptops use full-disk encryption." (Only if true.) Q: "Do you have a penetration test?" Honest answer when none: "Not yet. An external test is planned for [DATE]. In the meantime we run automated dependency and code scanning on every change." For each question, write: a short answer (yes, no, partly) that I could paste, a supporting detail from my facts only, evidence I can attach (policy, screenshot, report), and a flag if my facts do not support a yes. Never write an answer that overstates what I do. Provide a table of gaps that appear repeatedly across questionnaires with a 90-day plan to close the top five, and a reusable answer library structure. Mark any claim that needs confirmation from my technical lead as [VERIFY].
