Be careful about fairness: unexplained differences may harm customers or the business. Add a worked comparison: service A list price 100; customer 1 paid 100, customer 2 paid 90, customer 3 paid 100, customer 4 paid 85. Differences from list: 0, minus 10, 0 and minus 15. Sum of differences 25 on list-price revenue 400, which is 6.25 percent. Ask whether customers 2 and 4 had approved discounts. Suggest a discount register with date, approver, reason and expiry, and a rule that discounts expire unless renewed.
