Shopify App and Theme Performance Audit
Find apps and scripts that slow the store or add risk.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.
Audit apps and theme as a defensive review of my own store. List of installed apps with purpose, cost, last used and data access: [APP_LIST]. Page speed measurements for key pages and what each app adds if known: [SPEED_DATA]. Theme customisations: [THEME_NOTES]. Classify apps as essential, useful, duplicate or unused and total the monthly cost with arithmetic. Check for apps with broad data access, apps that inject scripts on every page, leftover code from removed apps (ask the app developer or a developer to check [VERIFY]), and duplicated functions. Measure each app's effect on speed: remove one app on a duplicate theme, test the home and product pages three times, and compare the median. Removal order with testing: remove one app at a time, test checkout, compare speed, and have a rollback. Take a theme backup before changes. Return a table and a procedure for approving new apps. Interfaces and limits change often, so label unconfirmed details [VERIFY].
