Review a print design before ordering. Design description with text, sizes, colours, images, margins and bleed settings: [DESIGN_DESCRIPTION]. Printer's requirements: [PRINTER_REQUIREMENTS]. Check text accuracy (names, dates, times, addresses, phone numbers, web addresses), spelling, numbers and totals, image resolution at final size [VERIFY printer guidance], margins and bleed, colour differences between screen and print, legibility of small text, QR codes tested, required legal lines, and how the design looks cut and folded. Read the text aloud once. Count problems by type and mark each must fix or optional. Provide a proof sheet: for each text element, the source it was checked against (a booking confirmation, price list or official page), who checked it and when, with a second person checking numbers and contact details. Estimate the cost of a reprint, for example 500 flyers at 0.18 each is 90.00 plus delivery, to show why a proof is worth five minutes. Draft a message asking the printer for a physical or digital proof, and keep the approved file and approval message together.
