Accessible Onboarding and Permission Prompts Review
Check first-run flows.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Review onboarding. Screens and text: [ONBOARDING_TEXT]. Permissions requested: [PERMISSIONS]. Check timing limits, ability to skip, labels, clear explanations before permission prompts, and avoidance of motion that cannot be paused. Return a table and a rewritten permission explanation under 40 words. Add a worked rewrite: Allow location access? becomes We use your location to show nearby stores. You can still search by postcode if you decline. Provide a check that the user can skip, decline and change the decision later in settings, and that the explanation appears before the system prompt. Add a short test: complete the first-run flow with a screen reader on, then with large text, then using only the keyboard or switch access if the platform allows. Record where you were stuck and the time to complete each run, and set a target such as completing onboarding in under three minutes without help. Finish with a request to list any step that cannot be completed without sight, hearing or fine motor control, and to propose an alternative route for each.
