Help me write an opinion piece that survives pushback. Interview me first, one question at a time: (1) my position in one sentence, (2) the strongest reasons I hold it, (3) the evidence I can cite, (4) the best argument against me and who makes it, (5) what would change my mind, (6) who the audience is and what I want them to do or think, and (7) my own experience relevant to the issue. My starting notes: [POSITION_NOTES]. After the interview, produce: an argument map (claim, reasons, evidence, objections, replies) in a table; the weakest points in my case and how to fix or concede them; an outline; and a full draft of [WORD_COUNT] words with a strong opening, a clear thesis in the first paragraph, a fair statement of the opposing view that its supporters would accept, my reasons with evidence, responses to the two best objections, a concession where honest, and a conclusion that proposes something specific. Use plain language and avoid sweeping claims, name-calling, and invented statistics (mark gaps [ADD SOURCE]). End with a checklist: Is the claim arguable? Is the evidence verified? Is the tone fair? Would a critic agree I represented their view accurately?
