Write responses to price objections. My offer and price: [OFFER_AND_PRICE]. Value delivered, with evidence (time saved, revenue, risk avoided): [VALUE_EVIDENCE]. Cheaper alternatives the buyer might compare: [ALTERNATIVES]. Flexibility I really have (scope, terms, phasing): [FLEXIBILITY]. Study these patterns. Buyer: "That's more than we budgeted." Weak: "Let me see if I can get you a discount." Strong: "Understood. Can I ask what the budget covers? If it's X, we can either reduce scope to the core and keep your budget, or phase the rollout. Which matters more, speed or the full feature set?" Buyer: "A competitor is half the price." Strong: "Often a lower price reflects a smaller scope. Which parts of their offer matter most to you? Let's compare what's included side by side." Create a table of 10 objections (too expensive, budget frozen, a competitor is cheaper, can you match, need a discount, price versus value unclear, procurement wants a lower price, a free alternative exists, pay later, ROI doubts) with the columns: Objection | What it usually means | Clarifying question | Response (40 to 70 words) | Option to offer | What not to say. Responses must be honest: no invented competitor prices, no fake urgency, and no discount without a trade. End with a note on when to walk away.

Objection: "That's more than we budgeted." What it usually means: the price is not yet tied to a result they can defend internally. Clarifying question: "What does the budget cover today, and what would you need to see to justify a bigger line?" Response (58 words): "Understood. If the budget is 40, we can start with the core reporting module at 38 and add the forecasting module in the second quarter once you have seen results. Or we keep the full scope and spread payment over six months. Which matters more to you, speed or the full feature set?" Do not say: "Let me see what discount I can get." Option to offer: phased scope, never a free discount.
