Write speaker notes for my PowerPoint deck. Slide titles and the text on each slide: [SLIDE_TEXT]. Total speaking time: [MINUTES] minutes. Audience: [AUDIENCE]. My speaking style (formal, conversational): [STYLE]. Points I must not forget: [KEY_POINTS].

For each slide write short prompts, not a script: the opening line, three points to say in my own words, a transition sentence, and the time allowance in minutes and seconds. At about 130 spoken words per minute a two-minute slide needs roughly 260 words of speech, so 40 to 60 words of prompts are enough. Make the times add up to the total with the arithmetic and word budget shown. Example plan for a 10-minute talk: Opening 1:00, Problem 1:30, Evidence 3:00, Options 2:00, Recommendation 1:30, Close 1:00. Mark slides that can be cut if I run over, with a one-sentence version of each. Do not add facts that are not in my slides; mark gaps [ADD FACT], and give the exact source of any figure I might be asked about.

Then say which slides carry the main message, where questions are likely, and give five questions with short answers from my slide text only. Rehearsal protocol: speak the notes aloud, time each slide, cut words not slides, and rehearse transitions; if 10 minutes planned takes 11:20, cut 80 seconds. Include recovery lines if I lose my place, how to type notes in the Notes pane and print notes pages [VERIFY], and a reminder to keep private comments out of notes if the file will be shared.

Invented slide plan for a 10-minute talk: Opening 1:00, Problem 1:30, Evidence 3:00, Options 2:00, Recommendation 1:30, Next steps 1:00. Total = 1 + 1.5 + 3 + 2 + 1.5 + 1 = 10 minutes.
Evidence slide notes: Open with "Sales fell in March." Say: the fall was 12 percent; it began after the price change; it affects two regions. Transition: "So what are our options?" Cut if late: Options can shrink to one minute. Notes for the Recommendation slide (1:30): Say: we recommend option B. It costs 8 percent more in year one and saves 20 percent after that. The main risk is the delivery date. Ask for the decision today. Transition: 'What do we need to do next?' If late: skip the cost detail and refer to the appendix. Word budget: 1.5 minutes at 130 words a minute is about 195 words, so notes stay under 50.
