Script Draft Scoring Rubric

Rubric scoring

Review a script for clarity, pacing, and value.

The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.

Score my video or podcast script like a strict editor. Format: [FORMAT]. Audience: [AUDIENCE]. Goal of the episode: [GOAL]. Length target: [LENGTH]. Script: [PASTE_SCRIPT].

Score each criterion from 1 to 5, quote evidence from the script, and give one fix:
1. Hook strength in the first 30 seconds.
2. Promise and payoff (does it deliver what the title and opening promise?).
3. Structure and signposting.
4. Pacing (long stretches without a story, example, or change).
5. Clarity of language (spoken, not written style).
6. Specificity (examples, numbers, stories).
7. Accuracy and claims (list any that need sources).
8. Ending and call to action.
9. Estimated speaking time compared with the target.

Then list the 10 lines I should cut or tighten, with reasons; the three places that need a visual or sound change; and a rewrite of the weakest paragraph. Keep my voice. Do not add facts. Ask which part I am least sure about.
