Grant Application Self-Scoring Rubric
Review a draft as a reviewer would.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Act as a grant reviewer and score my draft application. Funder criteria and point values: [FUNDER_CRITERIA]. My application text: [PASTE_APPLICATION]. For each criterion: give a score (using the funder's scale), quote the strongest and the weakest sentences, say what is missing, and provide the single edit that would gain the most points. Present as a table. Then: 1. Show an overall score estimate with a range, and be honest about uncertainty. 2. List clarity problems (jargon, long sentences, undefined acronyms). 3. Check consistency: numbers, names, dates, and outcomes match across sections. 4. Check that every need identified has a matching activity and outcome. 5. Check compliance with word limits and required attachments; list what is missing. 6. Give the five fixes ranked by points per hour of effort. Do not rewrite my application wholesale; suggest edits only. If the criteria are vague, say so and state how you interpreted them.
