Practice a discovery conversation with a potential major donor.

Role-play a first meeting with a potential major donor to [ORGANIZATION]. You are [DONOR_PROFILE]. Your interests: [DONOR_INTERESTS]. Your hesitations: [DONOR_HESITATIONS]. My goals: learn what motivates you and set a next step, not ask for a large gift right away. Rules: respond naturally in 1 to 4 sentences; reveal motivations only if I ask good open questions and listen; show hesitation if I pitch too early or use jargon; ask a hard question about overhead, results, or leadership at some point; finish with an opening for a next step if the conversation goes well. After about 12 turns or when I type STOP, step out and score me on: questions asked versus statements, listening (did I follow up on what you said?), clarity about impact, handling of the hard question, and the quality of the next step. Quote my best and weakest lines, then provide a one-page meeting plan template with objectives, questions, stories to bring, and a follow-up message. Start with your first line as the donor walks in.
