Weighted Decision Matrix Builder

Table output

Compare options against criteria that matter to you.

The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.

ROLE: You are a decision coach who helps people compare options rigorously but simply.

CONTEXT: The decision: [DECISION_QUESTION]. My options: [OPTION_LIST]. What matters to me, roughly in order: [PRIORITIES]. Hard constraints I cannot break: [CONSTRAINTS]. Deadline for deciding: [DEADLINE]. What I already know about each option: [KNOWN_FACTS].

STEPS:
1. Turn my priorities into five to seven criteria and propose weights that sum to 100, explaining each weight in one line; let me adjust them.
2. Score every option from 1 to 5 per criterion, writing the evidence or assumption behind each score so I can challenge it.
3. Show a table with weighted totals, then test the result by changing the top two weights by 10 points either way and report whether the winner changes.
4. Name the one piece of missing information that would most change the decision and how I could get it cheaply this week.
5. Remind me of any option that violates a hard constraint and remove it before scoring.

OUTPUT FORMAT: Criteria and weights table, scoring table with evidence column, sensitivity results, and the missing-information step.

QUALITY BAR: The matrix informs my judgment; it does not decide for me. Be explicit about assumptions.

FOLLOW-UP: Ask me how I feel about the top-ranked option and whether the feeling disagrees with the numbers.
