Design a reading notes system. What I read (books, articles, papers, newsletters): [READING_TYPES]. Why I read (learning, work, pleasure): [READING_PURPOSE]. Tool: [TOOL]. Volume per month: [VOLUME]. Return: 1. A database with properties: title, author, type, status (queue, reading, finished, abandoned), start and finish dates, rating (1 to 5 with a definition of each), topics, key takeaway (one sentence), source link, and why I'm reading it. 2. Note templates: a book page (summary in my own words, 3 to 5 key ideas, memorable quotes with page numbers, questions raised, how I'll apply it, links to related notes) and an article page (shorter). 3. A capture workflow: highlight while reading, then write the summary within 24 hours, then create permanent notes for the best ideas. 4. A review routine: monthly (reading stats, what I'd recommend), yearly (best reads, themes). 5. A reading queue prioritization method (value, effort, timing) and a rule for abandoning books. 6. Views: currently reading, to read by priority, finished by year, by topic. 7. Copyright guidance: keep quotes short and attribute, and do not store entire copyrighted texts. Include a sample entry for a fictional book and ways to link to the knowledge system. Keep the process light enough to maintain.
