Design a dashboard layout. Audience and the decisions they make: [AUDIENCE_AND_DECISIONS]. Available data and refresh frequency: [DATA_AND_REFRESH]. Tool: [DASHBOARD_TOOL]. Screen sizes: [SCREEN_SIZES]. Produce: 1. A list of the questions the dashboard must answer, ranked, and the metric for each with its formula and the comparison (target, last period, same period last year). 2. A layout in text: a grid showing where each element sits, with the reasoning (most important top left, summary numbers first, detail below). 3. For each element: chart type, filters it responds to, interaction (hover, drill-down), and the default state. 4. Filters and defaults: at most five global filters, a sensible default date range, and a visible indication of the active filters. 5. Performance notes: pre-aggregation, extracts, limits on rows. 6. Accessibility: keyboard use, text size, color-independent status, alt text, a table view for every chart. 7. A test plan with five users: tasks, success criteria, and the questions to ask. 8. A list of things to leave out, with the reason.
