Google Sheets Formula Consistency Across Rows and Columns Audit

Audit formula consistency. For key columns, the formula in the first row and a list of cells whose formulas differ or are hard-coded values: [FORMULA_PATTERNS]. What the column is supposed to calculate: [PURPOSE]. Detection method: add a helper column showing each row's formula text [VERIFY availability of FORMULATEXT], or use conditional formatting with a custom formula to highlight constants in a column of formulas. Find rows where a formula was overwritten with a number, ranges that stop short, absolute versus relative reference mistakes, and mixed units. Count the inconsistent cells and the share of the column, with arithmetic. Worked example: a column of 20 formulas where row 12 has a typed 1,050 instead of =B12*C12 (B12 of 12 and C12 of 100 gives 1,200); the highlight reveals it, and the total is understated by 150. Table of findings: Cell, Expected formula, Found, Likely cause and Fix. Ask about intended exceptions before changing anything. Repair routine: restore the formula, check the neighbours, record the reason for a legitimate exception in a note, and protect the formula column. Recommend ARRAYFORMULA where it helps, a quarterly scan, a test (change an input and watch the whole column update), and a one-line summary for the owner. Mark anything depending on my version [VERIFY].
