Review the protection and edit history of a Google Sheet. Sheets and ranges with protection settings: [PROTECTION_LIST]. Editors and their roles: [EDITORS]. Recent edit history notes: [EDIT_HISTORY]. Open with the number of sheets and protected ranges reviewed and the number of editors. Check that formulas and inputs are protected appropriately, that editors with warnings only are intended, that people who left are removed, and that the edit history shows no accidental overwrites. Table: Range, Who can edit, Intended, Problem and Fix. For each editor, say in one sentence whether their access matches the role I described, and list the questions to ask each and the evidence to collect. Version history cannot prevent mistakes, but named versions help. Provide a ten-minute monthly routine any team member can repeat, a friendly message removing access, and mark features [VERIFY]. Keep the message to editors kind and brief. Tell me which finding to fix first and which can wait for the next monthly routine, and list anything you could not judge from the history notes.

Invented review. Sheets: 5. Protected ranges: 7. Editors: 14, of whom 3 left the organisation. Formula columns unprotected: 2. Warning-only protections: 3 (anyone can still override). Recent history shows an overwritten formula in the Totals sheet on the 11th and a deleted row on the 14th. Actions: remove the 3 leavers; make the 2 formula columns protected with named editors; convert warning-only protections to restricted where staff do not need to edit; create a named version at each month end. Result: editors fall from 14 to 11.
