Google Docs Template Quality and Consistency Audit
Check a team template for clarity and consistent styles.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Audit a Google Docs template. Template outline and instructions: [TEMPLATE_OUTLINE]. Usage problems reported: [PROBLEMS]. Work through the template from top to bottom. For each section say whether the instruction text is clear enough for a new user, whether the section is needed for every use, and whether the heading follows the same pattern as the others. Check heading structure, unused sections, inconsistent terminology, missing owner and review fields, and accessibility basics (heading order, table headers, link text). Check that placeholders are visually distinct so they are not left in the final document, and propose a standard such as grey square brackets. Recommend removing or making optional any section people usually leave blank. Score from 1 to 5 for clarity, flexibility and accessibility, with one example each, and rank findings by effect on users. Provide a revised outline and three tests with real users, measuring time to fill in, questions asked, and sections skipped.
