PowerPoint Colour Palette and Contrast Audit
Check readability of text and charts.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.
Audit colours in a PowerPoint deck. Palette hex codes, text and background combinations, chart colours: [PALETTE_AND_USES]. Present a table with Pairing, Used for, Hex codes, Computed ratio (only where hex codes are given, marked [VERIFY]), Threshold, Result and Suggested change. Use thresholds commonly cited for text, 4.5 to 1 for normal body text and 3 to 1 for large text, to be checked against the standard we follow [VERIFY]. Beyond ratio, test text over photographs, thin fonts, chart lines of similar brightness, red and green used together, light grey text and colour-only meaning in charts. Count failing pairings and show the share. Suggest replacements within the brand palette, an accessible palette variant that keeps brand recognition, and a greyscale test for charts. Be specific about which combinations to change. Because features change between releases, I will check each named option myself; show uncertainty with [VERIFY]. Keep the suggested replacements as close to the original colours as the thresholds allow, and say which pairings fail by the widest margin so I fix those first.

Invented pairings from supplied hex codes, with ratios computed by a contrast tool and entered here as given by the user. Dark blue text on white: 12.6 to 1, passes. Teal button text (white) on teal: 3.1 to 1, fails for small text. Grey caption text on light grey: 2.4 to 1, fails. Orange on white for chart labels: 2.9 to 1, fails. Failing pairings: 3 of 8 (37.5 percent). Suggested replacements within the brand palette: darker teal for the button, dark grey for captions, dark orange for labels. Greyscale check: two chart series become indistinguishable, so add patterns.
