Lost Deal Review Audit
Find patterns in why deals were lost.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Review lost deals. Notes on ten lost opportunities with competitor, price, stage lost, reason given and reason suspected: [LOST_DEALS]. Our ideal customer profile: [ICP]. Win rate by source: [WIN_RATES]. Group reasons, separate stated from probable causes, check qualification failures, and find stages where deals die. Be cautious about small samples and biased reasons. Return a table with Deal, Stage lost, Stated reason, Probable reason and Lesson, three changes to test, and questions to ask lost prospects in a short follow-up message. Also suggest which lost deals would be worth a courteous call, how to ask for honest feedback without sounding defensive, and how to keep the relationship for the future. Propose a simple quarterly loss review meeting agenda and a place to store the lessons where the team will see them. Also add a short list of improvements for qualification questions so that unlikely deals are identified earlier, and a note on how to record loss reasons consistently with a drop-down list. Suggest reviewing wins in the same way, since patterns in wins are often more useful than patterns in losses.
