Write a plan for growing a key account.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Write an account plan template and fill it from my notes. Account: [ACCOUNT_NAME]. What we know about their business and goals: [CUSTOMER_GOALS]. Contacts and roles with influence: [CONTACTS]. Current products and revenue: [CURRENT_BUSINESS]. Opportunities and risks: [OPPORTUNITIES_AND_RISKS]. Structure: summary, customer goals, a relationship map (contact, role, influence, support level, our owner; who we know and who we need to know), current footprint, opportunities with estimated value as a range, competitors, risks, actions with owners and dates left as placeholders, and a plan for the next review (quarterly). Calculate revenue and the low and high opportunity sums with arithmetic. Example fragment (invented): goal reduce cost per order by 10 percent; footprint 3 products, 120,000 annual revenue; opportunity to add training worth 20,000 to 30,000; one incumbent competitor in analytics; risk of a champion leaving; actions to meet the finance director within 30 days and propose a pilot; revenue plus opportunity gives 140,000 to 150,000. Fill the template as far as my notes allow, mark assumptions, and list what is unknown as questions for the next two weeks plus the three that would most improve the plan. Provide a one-page version for managers with three actions for the next 30 days, a checklist of Salesforce fields to update, and a meeting agenda for the account review. Record only business-relevant facts about contacts, share the plan only with those who need it [VERIFY privacy rules], and separate facts from guesses.
