Analyze customer profitability. Revenue by customer: [REVENUE_BY_CUSTOMER]. Direct costs and time by customer (hours, expenses, discounts): [COSTS_BY_CUSTOMER]. Payment behavior: [PAYMENT_BEHAVIOR]. Hourly cost rate: [HOURLY_COST_RATE]. Daily cost of capital: [CAPITAL_COST]. For each customer calculate: revenue; direct costs; time cost = hours x hourly cost rate; gross contribution = revenue - direct costs - time cost; contribution margin percent; revenue share; payment penalty = revenue x annual cost of capital x days late / 365. Show the arithmetic in full for two customers and tabulate the rest. Output format: 1. A table sorted by contribution: Customer | Revenue | Contribution | Margin % | Revenue share | Payment penalty. 2. The top 20 percent by contribution, the lowest contributors, and customers with high revenue but low margin. 3. An action for each group (raise prices, change scope, change terms, reduce service, or keep) with the evidence. 4. Concentration risk: any customer above 25 percent of revenue. 5. A short paragraph on customers worth keeping despite low margin, and which figures rely on an allocation I should confirm. State the limits: overhead allocation is a judgment, and relationships have value beyond margin. Present the outputs as estimates grounded in my inputs alone. Do not rely on this as accounting, tax, legal or investment advice. An accountant or financial adviser who knows [JURISDICTION] should sign off on the output before you rely on it.

Hourly cost rate 40; cost of capital 10 percent a year. Customer A: revenue 30,000; direct costs 6,000; hours 150 x 40 = 6,000; contribution = 30,000 - 6,000 - 6,000 = 18,000 (60 percent); 31 days late average: payment penalty = 30,000 x 0.10 x 31 / 365 = 255. Customer B: revenue 12,000; direct costs 3,000; hours 220 x 40 = 8,800; contribution 200 (1.7 percent). Customer C: revenue 18,000; costs 4,000; hours 60 x 40 = 2,400; contribution 11,600 (64 percent). Revenue share: A 50 percent, B 20 percent, C 30 percent. Concentration: A above 25 percent. Action: reprice or rescope B (high effort, low margin); keep A but diversify. Limits: overhead allocation is a judgment.
