Audit duplicated datasets in our Power BI environment. List of datasets with name, owner, workspace, tables, last refresh, reports using it, and whether it is endorsed or certified [VERIFY terms]: [DATASET_LIST]. Metrics that different reports show differently: [CONFLICTING_METRICS].

Find datasets with near-identical names or tables, personal copies behind shared reports, datasets with no refresh in 30 days, and the same metric defined differently in different datasets. Count them and show the share of reports depending on duplicates. Compare one key figure across two datasets with arithmetic: 1,240,000 against 1,198,000 is a difference of 42,000, or 3.4 percent of the first.

Return a table with Dataset, Owner, Reports, Duplicate of, Issue and Recommended action, and a plan to move to a certified source: choose the master dataset, document its definitions, test the numbers with the business owner, repoint reports one at a time, and retire copies after a notice period. Define certification criteria (owner, documentation, tested definitions, monitored refresh). Mark admin features [VERIFY].
