New Hire 30-Day Feedback Survey Results Audit
Analyse new-hire survey answers after their first month to find the biggest friction points and turn them into a ranked onboarding fix list.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
I collected feedback from people who joined in the last few months. Please audit the answers and tell me what to fix in onboarding first, while being careful about small samples and anonymity. Inputs: the survey questions [SURVEY_QUESTIONS], responses with ratings from 1 to 5 and comments [SURVEY_RESPONSES], the number of people who joined in the period [NUMBER_JOINED], their rough start dates or cohorts [COHORTS], and onboarding changes we made recently [RECENT_CHANGES]. Return: (1) the response rate with arithmetic and a warning if the base is under [MIN_BASE] people; (2) a table with columns Question, Average, Lowest score, Share rating 4 or 5, Share rating 1 or 2; (3) comparison of cohorts if two or more are given, noting whether differences are big enough to mean anything; (4) coded themes from comments with counts, ordered by frequency, and two short anonymised examples each; (5) a ranked fix list with columns Issue, Evidence, Effort, Impact, Suggested owner, First small step; (6) points that need a follow-up conversation rather than a survey; (7) any improvement suggestions for the survey itself. Guardrails: if the sample is small, say that results are indicative and avoid precise percentages that imply certainty. Never attempt to identify respondents. Do not invent comments, trends or benchmark scores. Present recommendations as options for a person to decide. Add a worked example with invented numbers: ratings for "I knew who to ask for help" of 5, 2, 4, 2, 3. Show the average 3.2 and the 40 percent rating 1 or 2.
