Please help me audit the system access given to a recent new hire against what their role actually needs. This is a defensive check of my own organisation's setup: look for missing access that slows them down and for excess access that creates risk. Do not suggest ways to bypass any controls.

Inputs: the role description [ROLE_DESCRIPTION], the list of systems and the access level granted, from our records [ACCESS_GRANTED], the days it took to get each [DAYS_TO_GRANT], the access standard for this role if we have one [ROLE_ACCESS_STANDARD], and who approves access in our company [APPROVAL_PROCESS].

Provide: (1) a table with columns System, Needed for what task, Access level granted, Needed level, Gap (Missing / Too much / Right / Unknown), Days to grant, Approver recorded?, Risk note; (2) counts of each gap type and the average and longest wait, showing the arithmetic; (3) a least-privilege review that proposes the minimum starting access, labelled as suggestions for the system owners; (4) a check that shared accounts, personal accounts and temporary access are handled in a way you would flag for review; (5) a process improvement list: pre-boarding request, one approval path, review after 30 days, and removal when someone changes role; (6) a request template under 120 words for the IT or security team.
