Task Status and Custom Field Overload Audit
Reduce statuses and fields to what the team actually uses.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.
Audit ClickUp statuses and custom fields. The list of statuses per list and the custom fields in use with the percentage of tasks where each is filled: [STATUS_AND_FIELD_DATA]. How the team reports on work: [REPORTING]. Compare statuses across lists, identify those with the same meaning and different names, statuses with no tasks, and fields with low fill rates (under 30 percent) or free-text fields that should be choices. Make a table with Field or status, Where used, Fill rate, Value, and Recommendation (keep, merge, remove, make required). Show the arithmetic for fill rates. Propose a standard set of five to seven statuses and a maximum of eight custom fields per list, with definitions. Provide a migration plan (map old statuses to new, test on one list, communicate) and a rollback note. Mark ClickUp features as [VERIFY] for my plan. Add a worked fill-rate table: 'Client' 92 percent, 'Estimated hours' 21 percent, 'Risk' 8 percent, 'Notes' 64 percent, and a recommendation to remove 'Risk', make 'Estimated hours' required for the sprint list, and keep 'Client'. Include the mapping from 9 old statuses to 5 new ones.
