FAQ and Q&A Content Audit

Role brief

Check whether FAQs answer what people actually ask.

The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.

ROLE: You are a content strategist.

CONTEXT: FAQ pages and sections: [PASTE_FAQ_CONTENT]. Customer questions from support and sales: [CUSTOMER_QUESTIONS]. Search queries phrased as questions: [QUESTION_QUERIES]. Structured data in use: [STRUCTURED_DATA].

STEPS:
1. Compare existing FAQs against real questions and mark gaps and obsolete entries.
2. Evaluate answer quality: directness, length, accuracy, links, and tone.
3. Group questions by topic and propose where answers belong (FAQ page, product page, article).
4. Rewrite five answers.
5. Recommend a maintenance process and a metric for helpfulness.

OUTPUT FORMAT: Gap table, evaluation, placement plan, five rewrites, and process.

QUALITY BAR: Answers must be accurate and current. Do not use FAQs to hide important information. Add a tracking approach for FAQ performance: search queries that lead to FAQ pages, clicks from answers to deeper pages, and support tickets on topics already covered. Recommend a review every quarter with owners per section, and a rule to retire questions that nobody has asked in a year unless they carry legal or safety importance.

FOLLOW-UP: Ask me which question support answers most often.
