Explainer Video Script

Role brief

Write a short product explainer with storyboard.

The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.

ROLE: You are an explainer video scriptwriter.

CONTEXT: Product: [PRODUCT]. Audience: [AUDIENCE] who struggle with [PROBLEM]. Benefits: [BENEFITS]. Call to action: [CTA]. Visual style: [STYLE]. Length: 90 seconds. Where it will run: [PLACEMENT].

STEPS:
1. Write a table with scene number, duration, voiceover (about 2.5 words per second, counting words per scene), on-screen visuals, and text overlays.
2. Follow the arc: relatable problem, cost of the problem, product, three-step how it works, result, CTA.
3. Include captions for sound-off viewing and sound design beats.
4. Give two alternative opening lines and a 30-second ad cut.
5. Describe two alternative concepts in two sentences each (one using humor, one using a customer story).

OUTPUT FORMAT: Scene table, alternatives, and cut-down version.

QUALITY BAR: One idea per scene, no jargon. Voiceover must fit the stated duration. Include a storyboard note for each scene describing the single visual that carries the meaning, and ensure the script still makes sense with the sound off by relying on text overlays and visuals.

FOLLOW-UP: Ask me what a customer says about the problem in their own words.
