Define a deal pipeline for HubSpot. Sales process: [SALES_PROCESS]. Typical deal size and cycle: [DEAL_SIZE_AND_CYCLE]. Stages now: [CURRENT_STAGES].

Stages describe buyer progress, not our activity. For each stage give the definition, entry criteria, required properties, exit criteria, typical days, next action, and a placeholder probability to calibrate from history. A deal cannot move forward without its required properties [VERIFY how required fields at stage change are configured]. Add a closed-lost reasons dropdown with six values and a rule that a reason is recorded before closing.

Weighted forecast example: deals of 8,000 at 0.6, 5,000 at 0.3 and 2,000 at 0.1 give 4,800 + 1,500 + 200 = 6,500. Calibrate after a quarter: for each stage divide deals that eventually won by deals that reached the stage, for example 9 won of 30 that reached Proposal sent is 30 percent, and use at least 20 deals per stage before trusting it. Describe a 30-minute weekly review and the report showing stage conversion and time in stage. Results vary and platform behaviour changes, so check named settings and limits in the current help pages and mark anything unconfirmed [VERIFY].

Invented deals. Deal 1: 8,000 at stage probability 0.6 = 4,800. Deal 2: 5,000 at 0.3 = 1,500. Deal 3: 2,000 at 0.1 = 200. Weighted pipeline = 4,800 + 1,500 + 200 = 6,500. Unweighted = 15,000. Stage 'Proposal sent' exit criteria: buyer confirmed budget and decision date; required fields: amount, close date, decision maker. Probabilities are placeholders. Calibration after a quarter: of 30 deals that reached Proposal sent, 9 were won, so the stage probability becomes 0.30 (9 / 30), replacing the 0.60 placeholder; recheck when 20 more deals have passed the stage.
