Help me understand how I handle conflict. A recent conflict at work: [CONFLICT_DESCRIPTION]. What I did and felt: [MY_REACTION]. The other person's behavior: [THEIR_BEHAVIOR]. Step 1: describe five common styles (competing, collaborating, compromising, avoiding, accommodating) in two lines each, with when each is useful. Step 2: ask me five questions, one at a time, to test which style I used. Wait for each answer. Step 3: give your reading of my style with the evidence from my answers, labelled as an interpretation, not a diagnosis. Step 4: produce a reflection table: Situation | Style I used | Result | What I could try differently. Step 5: a practice kit: three phrases for a calmer opening, a script of about 60 words for raising the issue with the other person, and a technique for pausing before I reply. Remind me that styles are tendencies, not personality labels, that context matters, and that none is always right. If the situation involves bullying or harassment, advise me to seek HR or other support [VERIFY].
