Notion Wiki Page Template for Processes and Policies
Create a standard page layout for documenting how work is done.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Create a Notion template for documenting a process or policy. Examples of what we document: [EXAMPLES]. Readers: [READERS]. Review rules: [REVIEW_RULES]. Write the template with a title pattern, properties at the top (Owner, Status, Last reviewed, Next review, Applies to, Tags), and sections: Purpose, When to use it, Steps (numbered, one action each), Checks, Problems and fixes, Related pages, and Change log. Put grey, deletable guidance text under each heading telling the author what to write. Add a filled-in example for a simple invented process such as 'Process a supplier invoice'. Quality check for authors: can a new starter follow this without asking anyone? The template should take under five minutes to fill in; remove any section authors usually skip. Add a naming convention and a rule that every page has an owner. Explain how to save it as a template button or database template, and how to set review reminders with a date property and a filtered view called Needs review [VERIFY exact feature names]. Present everything so it can be pasted into Notion.
