Write searches I can reuse to find things quickly.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Write a search cheat sheet for Gmail based on my needs. What I often need to find: [FINDING_NEEDS]. People, clients and projects: [PEOPLE_AND_PROJECTS]. Typical date ranges: [DATE_RANGES]. Whether I use labels: [LABEL_USE]. Provide ten ready-to-use searches in a table (Goal, Query, Variation, Note), using operators such as from:, to:, subject:, has:attachment, filename:, after:, before:, older_than:, newer_than:, larger:, label:, is:unread, quoted phrases, OR and the minus sign [VERIFY syntax against the current help page]. Use my client and project names where I gave them and invented placeholders otherwise. Explain how to combine operators and how to turn a search into a filter or label. Cover common mistakes: spaces in names, date formats, searching the inbox only versus All Mail, and parentheses for OR groups. Add a test: check the first and last results of each search. Put the three searches I will use most often first, and say which of them is worth saving as a filter or label. Keep any example that needs an operator I did not ask for clearly separate from the ten.
