Design the political landscape of my setting. Size and type of society: [SOCIETY]. Source of wealth: [WEALTH]. Tensions already in the story: [TENSIONS]. Create a power map listing factions, leaders, resources, ideology, allies, enemies, and what each wants in the next year. Include institutions (courts, army, church or equivalents, guilds), how decisions are made, how power transfers, and how ordinary people experience it. Develop three crises that would destabilise the system and how each faction responds. Provide a timeline of five historical events that explain the present. Present as tables and a short narrative. Highlight which factions can be used for antagonists, allies, and wild cards. Add a set of four plot hooks that arise from conflicts between factions, each with a decision a character must make and what is lost either way. Include a short guide to explaining politics to readers through personal stakes rather than exposition, and a table of the main characters' relationships to the factions.
