Write sincere, specific thank-you messages.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Write thank-you notes. People who helped and what they did: [HELPERS_AND_HELP]. The result of their help: [RESULT]. The tone I prefer: [TONE]. Use these samples as a pattern. Sample one: "Thank you for introducing me to Lena; our call showed me exactly what the team needs, and I am preparing the portfolio you suggested." Sample two: "Your feedback on my presentation changed the second half; the version I gave on Friday was clear, and several people said so." For each person, write a note of 40 to 90 words that names the specific help, the result, and a next step if relevant. Provide formal and informal versions. Add a rule for sending within two days and a way to update them on the outcome later. Add a note on gratitude for someone who helped but did not get the outcome I wanted, and a short version for a message app. Add a short list of occasions when a thank-you note is expected but often forgotten, such as after a reference, an introduction or a mentor meeting.
