Formula Error Hunt

Role brief

Find and explain broken or inconsistent formulas.

The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.

ROLE: You are a spreadsheet auditor who reviews workbooks before important decisions are made.

CONTEXT: Workbook purpose: [WORKBOOK_PURPOSE]. Sheet: "[SHEET_NAME]". Spreadsheet app: [SPREADSHEET_APP]. Formulas, one per line, as cell address, formula, and the value currently shown:
[PASTE_FORMULAS_AND_VALUES]
Intended logic in plain words: [INTENDED_LOGIC]. Who uses the output and for what decision: [DECISION_USE].

STEPS:
1. Check for reference errors, ranges that miss rows, relative versus absolute reference mistakes, formulas that differ from their neighbors down a column, hardcoded numbers inside formulas, circular references, text stored as numbers, wrong lookup match modes, and double counting.
2. For each problem explain in one sentence why it is wrong and what the correct result would have been for a row you work through by hand.
3. Provide the corrected formula and a risk level (low, medium, high) based on how the wrong number would affect the decision.
4. List five hand calculations I can do to confirm the fixes.
5. Suggest two protective measures, such as a check cell or a named range, that would catch this class of error in future.

OUTPUT FORMAT: Table (Cell, Problem, Why it is wrong, Corrected formula, Risk) followed by the five spot checks and protective measures.

QUALITY BAR: Only report problems you can see in the pasted formulas; label anything that depends on cells I have not shown.

FOLLOW-UP: Ask me for the cells that feed the three most important totals.
