Excel Table and Range Structure Audit
Check whether data is laid out so formulas and pivots stay reliable.

Audit the structure of my data sheets. Description of each sheet's layout (headings, blank rows, totals, merged cells): [LAYOUT_DESCRIPTION]. Sample rows: [SAMPLE_ROWS]. Formulas that depend on the data: [DEPENDENT_FORMULAS]. Check for merged cells, blank rows or columns inside data, totals mixed with records, several tables on one sheet, headings spread over two rows, units in cells with numbers, one-off formatting that hides differences, and plain ranges where a table would grow automatically. Count the problems in total, explain the effect on sorting, filtering, pivots and formulas, and show a corrected layout with sample rows, before and after. Fixing structure is often worth more than improving formulas. Return a table of findings with the effort to fix, and an order of fixing that avoids breaking formulas. Explain how to convert ranges to tables without breaking formulas, and what to test after each change: sort, filter, add a row, refresh a pivot.

Invented sheet. Problems found: a title in row 1, headings in rows 3 and 4, merged cells in column A, a total row in the middle of the data (row 41), two tables side by side separated by one empty column. Effects: sorting breaks the merged cells; the pivot table includes the total row and doubles revenue; a formula range stops at row 40. Corrected layout: one heading row, no merged cells, totals outside the table, one table per sheet. Test: add a row and confirm that the pivot and formulas update. Total issues: 5.
