Zoom Account Security Settings Review for Hosts (Defensive)
Check meeting protections on my own account or organisation.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Review the security settings of our Zoom meetings as a defensive review of my own account; recommend protections only and nothing that disrupts other people's meetings. Current settings as far as I know (waiting room, passcodes, who can share screen, recording permissions, joining before host, authentication, chat and file sharing, guest access): [SETTINGS]. Types of meetings and sensitivity: [MEETING_TYPES]. Past incidents such as uninvited guests: [INCIDENTS]. Check each setting against the sensitivity of the meeting, and identify settings that are too open, defaults that should change, differences between recurring and one-off meetings, and risks from public meeting links. Return a table with Setting, Current, Recommended, Why, Rating (high, medium or low) and Who can change it, saying what an administrator must do versus what a host can do [VERIFY names and locations, which vary by plan]. Avoid settings that make meetings unusable for the real participants. Host checklist for sensitive meetings: unique link, waiting room, lock the meeting once started, screen share limited to the host, recording rules. If an unwanted person joins: remove them, lock the meeting, report it, tell the organiser. Quarterly settings review.
