Confluence Space Health and Findability Audit
Check a space for stale pages, orphans and poor titles.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Audit the health of a Confluence space using this page list, with title, parent, last updated, last editor, views in the last 90 days and labels for each page: [PAGE_LIST]. Our rules for review: [REVIEW_RULES]. Stale after how many months: [STALE_MONTHS]. Work in order. First report the raw counts so I can check them against the export: number of pages, the share not updated in more than the stale limit, pages with no views, pages with no labels, pages with generic titles such as 'Notes' or 'New page', and pages at depth four or more, with arithmetic. Second, judge usefulness from views and date together: a page with many views and an old date is a priority to update, not to archive. Third, check that titles say what the page is for, and propose easier-to-find titles using words from the list. Say plainly if a column is missing. Group findings by last editor for easy follow-up. Return a table and a three-tier action list (archive, update, merge) with effort in minutes per tier. Do not recommend deleting any page without checking with its last editor. Close with a one-page monthly maintenance routine for the space owner.

Invented sample of 120 pages. Not updated in 12 months: 48 (48 / 120 = 40 percent). No views in 90 days: 30 (25 percent). No labels: 66 (55 percent). Generic titles: 14 (11.7 percent). Depth four or more: 21 (17.5 percent). Actions: archive 25 pages after owner reply, update 40, merge 8 pairs, add labels to 66 in a 90-minute session. Effort estimate: 6 hours in total. Reading: two in five pages have not been touched in a year, but only 25 percent have no views, so some old pages are still being read and are the priority to update. Order of work: update the old pages that are viewed, archive those that are not viewed after owner agreement, then add labels. Re-run the audit in three months and compare the stale share, now 40 percent.
